- Printing alignment for form 941 had to be changed for 2026 reporting; the software update ensures the form prints correctly.
Error When Uploading the DE9
Several customers have reported receiving the following error message when trying to upload their DE9 to the EDD website.
After examining the files, we have determined the wages are being reported correctly. Therefore, we are unsure as to what is causing the file to be rejected. One customer with two separate companies advised one of their uploads was successful, while the other was not.
If you experience this error, please call the EDD Tax Payer Assistance Center at 888-745-3886.
