An update is now available for your Datatech Software that is ready for CA Pay Data Reporting.
Deadline: Reports are due May 8, 2024.
For the 2023 reporting year, several updates have been made based on this years changes.
Changes Include:
New templates: Prior year templates will be rejected by the reporting portal. You must have the 2023 template to successfully upload your report.
New data fields: There is a new requirement to report remote employees that worked for you during the Snapshot Period. You can now select Remote on the employee’s account. Based on the following definition, employee’s should only be marked as Remote if they worked the entire Snapshot Period as a fully remote worker.
- Remote Worker Definition: A payroll or labor contractor employee who is entirely remote, teleworking, or home-based, and has no expectation to regularly report in person to a physical establishment to perform work duties; employees in hybrid roles or (partial) teleworking arrangements expected to appear in person to perform work at a particular establishment for any portion of time during the Snapshot Period would not be considered remote workers for pay data reporting purposes.
Race, ethnicity, sex: It is no longer acceptable for Labor Contractors to report “Unknown” for the race/ethnicity or sex of an employee.
