Click the ‘PRINT’ button to print the Release Notes. Then Click the ‘DOWNLOAD’ button to download the update. When the download is complete the installer will try to start the installation process. However, you may get a message similar to what you see here.

This indicates that the installation of the update cannot proceed until all users of any open Datatech programs have closed the programs running on their workstations. Once all Datatech users have closed their programs, click the ‘OK’ button to proceed with the installation. Answer all questions the installer asks affirmatively, and make sure you apply this update ‘For all users of the program’.

Once the installation wizard has finished, open the HRM software on the Server or main computer and choose the first company file shown that is licensed for the HRM software. If you only have one company file, a list may not be shown when you open the program. But if you have multiple company files, you will need to open each company file that is licensed for the HRM software in order to apply the update to that company file. After you finish opening the first company file, close the program and open the next company file to apply the update to that company. Once all company files have been updated, all users may reopen the Datatech programs on their respective workstations.
