The latest update available for the HRM Software now contains the bitmaps needed to print the 2018 ACA forms 1094-C and 1095-C on blank paper. Please note that this update does NOT include the new 'schemas' needed for generating 2018 electronic ACA files.

The latest update available for the HRM Software now contains the bitmaps needed to print the 2018 ACA forms 1094-C and 1095-C on blank paper. Please note that this update does NOT include the new ‘schemas’ needed for generating 2018 electronic ACA files. The update containing these changes will be announced when it is available in early February.

If you need to print employee or IRS copies of the 1095-C forms on blank paper, you will first need to install the update on your network. Depending on your network, it may be necessary or advisable to have your IT provider perform this update in your behalf. Below are some reminders for how to complete the installation.

Installing On a Server Network

If you are installing the update for software installed on a server, all other copies of your Datatech software must be closed on all workstations attached to the Server. This applies to all local workstations connected over a wired network and any remote workstations connected via Remote Desktop over the internet.

On the server, open the Datatech program, login with administrator credentials, and go to the Tools menu, Check for Updates option.

The software will tell you whether a newer version is available or if you already have the current version or a version that is newer than what is available on the internet. If a newer version is available, select the option to download and install it. It would be advisable to print and read the Release Notes to be familiar with the new or changed features in this update.

When the download has finished, the installer wizard will begin automatically. Follow the steps to install the update “For All users of this software”. The program may restart automatically, but if it does not, open the program again to complete the installation of the update.

If you are installing the update on a Single-User PC, one copy of Datatech should be open on the desktop, and all other copies of your Datatech software must be closed. Make sure you have  logged in with administrator credentials, and go to the Tools menu, Check for Updates option.

The software will tell you whether a newer version is available or if you already have the current version or a version that is newer than what is available on the internet. If a newer version is available, select the option to download and install it. It would be advisable to print and read the Release notes to be familiar with the new or changed features of this version.
